Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with Common Core standards
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs
• Incorporate a variety of art techniques, media, and digital tools into instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance student learning and school programs
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
• Stay current with best practices in art education and professional development opportunities
• Participate in school events, parent engagement, and extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or related field
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an art-related subject at the secondary school level
• Strong knowledge of Common Core standards as they apply to art education
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency with various art techniques, media, and digital tools used in contemporary fine arts education

Preferred

• Experience with teaching in an international or multicultural setting
• Experience with student-centered, project-based learning approaches
• Familiarity with digital art tools and software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment design
