Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of international-mindedness and learner attributes within the curriculum.
• Foster a stimulating and respectful learning environment.
• Ensure student safety and wellbeing through daily monitoring and interaction.
• Assist in managing student behavior during lunch and other school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
• Maintain accurate records using the ISAMS electronic system.
• Deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons aligned with IMYC and IBDP standards.
• Promote critical thinking and independent learning through diverse teaching strategies.
• Plan and prepare lessons collaboratively with the Grade Level Team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in primary and secondary education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and ensure student safety.
• Proficiency in using ISAMS and other educational technologies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience with the IMYC and IBDP curricula.
• Background in teaching English literacy, including reading, writing, and phonics.
• Experience in organizing and managing classroom outings and events.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and constructivist teaching methods.
