Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes.
- Participate in professional development and appraisal processes.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Support students in preparing for external examinations and assessments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience teaching English as a First Language in a British Curriculum School.
- Honours Degree in English or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and IGCSE First Language English.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Proficient in using educational ICT to enhance learning.
- Ability to personalise and differentiate student learning.
- Excellent understanding of curriculum content and pedagogy.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 Drama.
- Ability to analyse student data and promote student achievement.
- Understanding of how the learning continuum flows through the school.
