The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Classroom Teacher Key Stage 1 to join our International Primary School. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and innovative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and curiosity.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality teaching resources and learning activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum degree in a related field and a teaching qualification (PGCE, Diploma in Education, or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Key Stage 1 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as IPC.
  • Background in teaching English as a second language.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
