The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English language and literature lessons to High/Secondary School students.
- Design and implement creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and enhance teaching practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning experience.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and continuous professional development within the school.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering student curiosity, creativity, and resilience.
- Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enhance student engagement and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of international curricula relevant to secondary education.
- Excellent spoken and written command of the English language.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Strong classroom management and student motivation skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience with IGCSE, A Levels, or the IB Diploma curriculum.
- Background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
- Experience in a boarding school or co-educational environment.
- Demonstrated interest in student wellbeing and character development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with parents and colleagues.
