Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Collaborate with the Head of English and department colleagues to develop and implement an effective curriculum.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal growth through innovative teaching methods.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to English.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school and department through professional development and shared best practices.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
- Stay up to date with current educational trends and incorporate them into teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and appropriate teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a department.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities in English.

- Experience with teaching students from diverse backgrounds.
