The Opportunity:

As a Physics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students from Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level. You will contribute to a successful department and help further develop the school's strong reputation in Physics through innovative teaching, academic excellence, and involvement in enrichment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3–5.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote academic excellence and student achievement.
  • Support the school’s enrichment programs, including Olympiads, university partnerships, and STEM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Physics curriculum and student learning outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the student experience.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Physics.
  • Proven ability to teach students across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic success.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality education in a school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to enrichment programs such as Olympiads or STEM initiatives.
  • Familiarity with university partnerships and higher education pathways.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
