The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of exams and ensuring a calm, secure environment for students. This is a flexible, hourly paid role that supports both paper-based and online examinations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and security of examinations by following all guidelines and procedures.
- Provide a professional and supportive environment for students during exams.
- Monitor and manage exam sessions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the setup and administration of both paper-based and online exams.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and external examiners when required.
- Maintain accurate records and report any irregularities or concerns promptly.
- Travel to different locations as needed, with expenses reimbursed.
- Support the smooth running of exam operations during peak periods such as May and June.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an examination environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade A*-C / 9-4.
Preferred
- Experience with online examination systems.
- Willingness to travel to different locations.
- Previous experience in education or training sectors.
