The Opportunity:

We are seeking a responsible and organised Exam Invigilator to support the smooth running of examinations throughout the year. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of assessments during key examination periods, including May and June.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and secure conduct of examinations in accordance with school and examination board guidelines.
  • Monitor and supervise students during exams to maintain a fair and focused environment.
  • Report any incidents or irregularities to the relevant department promptly.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of examination materials and venues.
  • Support internal exams during January, February, and April as required.
  • Work flexible hours by negotiation, including morning and afternoon sessions during main examination periods.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and make reasonable adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in a supervisory or administrative role is advantageous.
  • Commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational or examination setting.
  • Familiarity with examination invigilation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
