The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Finance and Admin Assistant to join our team and support the smooth running of the school’s administrative and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on students and staff while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the finance and administrative functions across both secondary schools.
  • Manage student and parental enquiries via phone and in person.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Team across both sites.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school by supporting the team in achieving its goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in an administrative or finance role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in using office software and financial systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a multi-site environment.
  • Knowledge of school finance procedures and systems.
  • Experience with the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Flexibility to work across both school sites as required.
