The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and committed French Teacher to join our team in November 2026 on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-resourced and innovative MFL curriculum that has significantly increased student engagement and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality French lessons using a carefully sequenced, fully resourced curriculum.
- Incorporate cultural topics to inspire a love of languages and global awareness.
- Support students through the use of online learning platforms and native speaker language assistants.
- Participate in regular CPD sessions led by subject experts and share best practice across the trust.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of MFL directors and lead teachers to ensure consistent standards and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching French at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the French curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Commitment to student engagement and achievement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with online learning platforms and digital resources.
- Background in developing or delivering CPD sessions.
- Familiarity with the MFL Pedagogy Review and its implementation in the classroom.
