As a Gap Year Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting both boarding and day students, contributing to their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mealtime supervision and general support in the Boarding House.
- Supervise pupils during evening activities and weekends on a rota basis.
- Support classroom learning in Prep and Pre-Prep, including individual and group assistance.
- Help with swimming lessons, PE, Games, and match fixtures.
- Assist with break times, after-school clubs, and general administrative tasks.
- Prepare snacks and help with laundry in the Boarding House.
- Collaborate with House Parents, Deputy Headmaster, and Head of Boarding to ensure a positive student experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Enthusiastic and reliable individual with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take on a variety of responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and during school hours.
Preferred
- Experience in education, childcare, or coaching.
- Previous experience in a school or residential setting.
- First aid or child protection training.
