A school is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join the Social Sciences Faculty and deliver AQA GCSE and A level courses. This role offers the opportunity to work with students across the age range and make a meaningful impact on their education and future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across the age range, including GCSE and A level.
- Develop engaging and innovative teaching materials that align with the curriculum.
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Participate in staff meetings, planning, and professional development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Encourage student participation in Geography-related extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or willingness to pursue it through the school’s training programme.
- Relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience in teaching Geography at GCSE and A level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school with a broad and stimulating academic programme.
- Familiarity with AQA GCSE and A level Geography specifications.
- Ability to integrate technology into Geography teaching.
