Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that align with the curriculum and promote student engagement.

- Support students in developing critical thinking, analytical, and geographical skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Geography Department to share best practices and improve teaching standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students to support their academic and personal growth.
- Stay up to date with current geographical issues and integrate real-world examples into lessons.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities when required.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Geography to A Level.
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching resources.
- Experience in using technology to enhance student learning.
- Experience in student leadership or extracurricular activities.
