The Opportunity:

The Head of Admissions plays a crucial role in shaping the school's future by guiding families through the admissions process and representing the school's vision with passion and expertise. This is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of the school's mission and a commitment to building lasting relationships with students and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact and ongoing guide for every prospective family, from initial enquiry through to onboarding.
  • Understand each family's hopes for their child and help them decide, with confidence, whether the school is the right choice.
  • Become fluent in the school's educational proposition, including its curriculum, pedagogy, and pastoral approach.
  • Represent the school at tours, open events, and community occasions with warmth, confidence, and substance.
  • Build trusted relationships that turn prospective families into long-term advocates of the school.
  • Own annual enrolment targets for day and boarding, maintaining momentum across every stage of the admissions journey.
  • Work in close partnership with Marketing to ensure lead generation, events, and campaigns translate into meaningful family engagement and enrolments.
  • Use data and pipeline analysis to identify where families disengage and respond quickly with evidence-based improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven track record in family-facing, client-facing, or admissions roles, with evidence of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong digital and analytical skills, including CRM and data platforms; experience with OpenApply and Power BI an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in premium, international, or fee-paying environments.
  • Additional languages.
  • Prior experience in education.
