As the Head of Lower Primary Section, you will lead and inspire a team of educators, shaping the academic and pastoral experience for Year 1 and 2 students. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Lower Primary Section, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
- Support and mentor teachers, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
- Oversee pastoral care and student well-being, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure a seamless educational experience.
- Promote a vibrant extra-curricular program that enhances student engagement and development.
- Monitor and evaluate academic progress, providing feedback and guidance to staff and students.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and parent consultations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt or PGCE).
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in managing and developing a teaching team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a section or department.
- Familiarity with international education systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
