Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mathematics department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement strategies to raise student attainment and achievement.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to whole-school improvement and development.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support the professional development of Mathematics staff.
- Work closely with other departments to enhance cross-curricular links and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education, preferably in Mathematics.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to use data effectively to improve student outcomes.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
- Familiarity with the Manx National Curriculum and Key Stage 5 qualifications.
- Experience in leading extracurricular activities or enrichment programmes.
- Experience in managing large teams and driving school-wide improvement initiatives.
