Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Pre-Prep department, ensuring the highest standards of education and welfare.
- Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that supports academic and personal growth.
- Supervise and mentor staff to ensure consistent quality and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to align departmental goals with the school’s strategic vision.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative tasks of the department.
- Ensure the safety, health, and overall welfare of all pupils.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to support student development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Strong teaching background with a deep understanding of curriculum development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing a department and leading a team of educators.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, with willingness to undergo DBS checks.
- A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent.
Preferred
- Experience in a Pre-Prep or early years setting.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and child development.
- Experience with boarding or day school environments.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
