The Opportunity:

As the Head of School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a school committed to academic excellence and holistic development. You will lead the Senior Leadership Team, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across all levels of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive school development strategy aligned with long-term and short-term goals.
  • Provide clear direction and supportive management to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Embed an internationalised educational philosophy that complements campus culture and supports academic and operational goals.
  • Lead curriculum design, teaching quality management, and ensure best practices in international pedagogy.
  • Support the management of teaching staff, including performance evaluations, talent development, and recruitment.
  • Promote a positive school ethos, encouraging student behavior that reflects respect, self-discipline, and personal growth.
  • Oversee the development of moral education, including teacher standards, student activities, and family engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate on school branding, enrollment, and retention efforts to meet financial targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in teaching, education management, curriculum development, and school administration
  • Experience in leading and managing school teams within a collaborative learning environment
  • Experience in teacher evaluation and professional development
  • Experience in curriculum development and international academic management

Preferred

  • Experience in boarding and pastoral duties, including evening and after-school activities
  • Familiarity with the international school application process
  • Strong understanding of independent school operations and culture
  • Proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
