Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational and strategic leadership to drive academic and personal outcomes for all students.
- Uphold and strengthen the school’s ethos, ensuring a welcoming and purposeful environment for students and staff.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement through rigorous self-evaluation and professional development.
- Manage a large and diverse student population, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure effective school operations and student support.
- Engage with the local community and build strong partnerships to enhance student opportunities.
- Ensure the school meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school or educational setting.
- Strong track record in improving student outcomes and school performance.
- In-depth knowledge of educational policies, safeguarding, and inclusion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage large teams and complex school operations.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a school through significant development or rebuilding projects.
- Familiarity with the DfE School Rebuilding Programme.
- Experience with managing a large cohort of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Experience in leading curriculum development and innovation.
