The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Headteacher to lead a vibrant and growing school with a clear vision for student achievement and staff development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inspirational and strategic leadership to drive academic and personal outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold and strengthen the school’s ethos, ensuring a welcoming and purposeful environment for students and staff.
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement through rigorous self-evaluation and professional development.
  • Manage a large and diverse student population, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure effective school operations and student support.
  • Engage with the local community and build strong partnerships to enhance student opportunities.
  • Ensure the school meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school or educational setting.
  • Strong track record in improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, safeguarding, and inclusion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage large teams and complex school operations.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school through significant development or rebuilding projects.
  • Familiarity with the DfE School Rebuilding Programme.
  • Experience with managing a large cohort of students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Experience in leading curriculum development and innovation.
