Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff to deliver high-quality education and pastoral care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve academic standards across all subjects.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Work closely with the multi-academy trust to ensure alignment with shared goals and values.
  • Engage with the local community and build strong partnerships to enhance the school’s impact.
  • Oversee the management of school resources, including facilities, budgets, and staff development.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
  • Represent the school externally, including with parents, local authorities, and other educational institutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, ideally at a senior level.
  • Strong track record in improving academic outcomes and student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and the development of the whole child.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing large-scale school improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of current educational policies and trends.
  • Experience in leading staff development and professional growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
