The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and inspiring History Teacher to join its Anglophone Section. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth in a modern, international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History and/or Geography and/or Economics to students in years 6 to 12.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote critical thinking and student engagement.
  • Support the academic and emotional progress of all students, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative and creative learning experiences.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the broader educational community.
  • Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
  • Stay current with educational trends and incorporate new teaching methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified secondary teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment.
  • Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and/or Economics.
  • Experience in creating and delivering creative and interactive lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula or multicultural environments.
  • Familiarity with the European Schools system or similar international institutions.
  • Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly English or German.
