The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to students in years 6 to 12.
  • Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student understanding and curiosity.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular and enrichment activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
  • Stay updated with developments in science education and incorporate new teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission by promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified secondary teacher with relevant subject expertise.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative in developing creative projects.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international or multicultural educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the European Schools curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and resources in the classroom.
