The Opportunity:
As an IB DP Coordinator Secondary, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This position combines teaching responsibilities with pastoral leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape student success and support academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the IB DP programme for Grades 11 and 12.
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the secondary age range, including (I)GCSE and IB examination classes.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, students, and the wider school community.
- Support the school’s commitment to French language education and cultural integration.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and PGCE or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an IBDP Coordinator.
- Demonstrated success in teaching and coordinating IB DP programmes.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred
- Experience with (I)GCSE qualifications.
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience in pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
