This is a unique opportunity for an IGCSE and A Level Information Technology Teacher to join a school launching a new Sixth Form while supporting a successful IGCSE programme. The role offers the chance to shape the future of education in a dynamic and growing institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching for IGCSE and A Level Information Technology (Pearson / Edexcel)
• Plan and prepare lessons aligned with Pearson specifications and assessment objectives
• Support the development and launch of the new Sixth Form Department
• Contribute to schemes of work, curriculum planning, and internal assessments
• Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations
• Track student progress and provide academic support as needed
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with senior leaders and Sixth Form staff

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• British-trained teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level
• Strong knowledge of Pearson / Edexcel exam boards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• International school or Sixth Form experience
