Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective IGCSE Humanities lessons aligned with the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments and intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity across phases.
• Support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
• Uphold the school's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy at all times.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice.
• Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of teaching resources and planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country where the degree was obtained.
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching IGCSE Humanities.
• Evidence of successful teaching placements or previous teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of classroom management and inclusive education practices.
• Commitment to equal opportunities and child protection policies.

Preferred

• Experience working with students who have learning or behavioral challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and as part of a collaborative department.
• Involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
