Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Key Stage 1 students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and behaviour
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student progress
  • Monitor and assess student learning regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification
  • Experience or potential to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
  • Strong commitment to student achievement and positive behaviour management
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to school life
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in Early Career Teacher induction or mentoring
  • Familiarity with Key Stage 1 curriculum and pedagogy
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities or pastoral support
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
