Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Key Stage 1 students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and behaviour
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student progress
- Monitor and assess student learning regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification
- Experience or potential to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
- Strong commitment to student achievement and positive behaviour management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to school life
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience in Early Career Teacher induction or mentoring
- Familiarity with Key Stage 1 curriculum and pedagogy
- Experience with extra-curricular activities or pastoral support
- Strong communication and organisational skills
