The Opportunity:

As a Key Stage 2 and 3 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning experiences of students with autism, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and ADHD. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, structured lessons tailored to the needs of students across Key Stages 2 and 3.
  • Support the delivery of the Identity Curriculum, including PSHE, SMSC/FBV, RSE, and CIAG.
  • Work closely with the therapeutic and pastoral team to address students’ social and emotional needs.
  • Plan and monitor individual learning progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture for all students.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of helping students reach their full potential through personalized learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stages 2 and 3.
  • Ability to deliver core subjects and support the Identity Curriculum.
  • Experience working with students who have complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated resilience, organisation, and caring nature.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering Foundation Stage lessons via topic-based learning.
  • Background in pastoral support or SEAL curriculum delivery.
  • Experience with trauma-informed teaching approaches.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and career progression.
