The Opportunity:
As a School Business Leader, you will play a central role in managing the school’s business operations and contributing to the strategic direction of the institution. This is a high-impact position that requires leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to improving outcomes for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial operations, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Lead HR initiatives, including safer recruitment, staff development, and wellbeing support.
- Ensure the maintenance and compliance of school estates and facilities.
- Oversee health and safety protocols and statutory compliance.
- Act as the school’s Data Protection Lead, managing data protection requirements.
- Develop and implement the school’s digital strategy as the Digital Lead.
- Manage contracts for key services, including catering, grounds maintenance, and IT.
- Strengthen administrative systems and lead marketing and communications efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in financial and operational leadership within an educational or similar setting.
- Strong ability to manage people, processes, and complex projects.
- Experience in compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to the values and vision of the school.
Preferred
- Experience within an educational setting.
- Leadership experience in a senior management or leadership role.
- Experience in data protection and digital strategy development.
- Experience in contract management and facilities management.
