Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Support and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback and guidance.
- Contribute to the development of departmental strategies and initiatives.
- Take responsibility for classroom management and the overall well-being of students.
- Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide events.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes high standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 within the independent sector.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leading a department.
- Familiarity with specialist subjects such as Science, Drama, or Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience with setting and assessing in core subjects such as Mathematics and Spelling.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
