The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our team and inspire students from Year 7 to Year 13. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through innovative teaching and a commitment to student engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction using an inquiry-based approach.
- Design and implement lessons that promote problem-solving and real-world application.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain a cohesive learning experience.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the school’s co-curricular program and attend Camp Week annually.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Promote student engagement and a lifelong appreciation for mathematics.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong command of mathematics and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience teaching mathematics to students in Years 7-13.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student engagement and inclusive teaching practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate programme.
- Background in inquiry-based learning and problem-solving instruction.
- Experience in co-curricular involvement or leadership.
- Passion for professional development and continuous learning.
