The Opportunity:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic journey of students from Pre-Nursery to Year 13. You will deliver high-quality mathematics education, support student development, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students at all levels, including IBDP HL and A Level.
- Support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
- Provide individualized support to students, especially those for whom English is not the first language.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and extracurricular programs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and continuous learning.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience teaching post-16 Mathematics to IBDP HL or A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching students for whom English is not the first language.
- Commitment to student development and academic success.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support school initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IBDP AA HL or A Level Further Maths.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Willingness to contribute beyond the classroom and support school-wide initiatives.
