A Mathematics Teacher Secondary is needed to join a successful and forward-thinking department. This role requires a passionate and well-qualified specialist in Mathematics with experience in the British and IB curriculum. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success and active learning in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the British and IB curriculum.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote active learning and student engagement.
• Provide strong pastoral care and support to students both inside and outside the classroom.
• Participate fully in all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
• Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics department and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher status and a degree in a relevant subject.
• Strong understanding of the British and IB curriculum up to Key Stage 5.
• Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to active learning and student-centred teaching.
• Ability to provide high levels of pastoral care.

Preferred

• Experience with international curricula.
• Experience in a British International School setting.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Experience in developing and leading professional development initiatives.
