Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Lead and support the KS3 team, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to support student progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and House system.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of students at all times.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Maths education.
  • Proven leadership experience within a school team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a department or team of teachers.
  • Familiarity with the Church of England ethos and values.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities and student engagement.
  • Knowledge of KS3 curriculum and assessment strategies.
