The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Maths Teacher and KS3 Team Leader to inspire students and lead a team of educators. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to a school that values creativity, resilience, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Lead and support the KS3 team, providing guidance and professional development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to support student progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and House system.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of students at all times.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Maths education.
- Proven leadership experience within a school team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a department or team of teachers.
- Familiarity with the Church of England ethos and values.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities and student engagement.
- Knowledge of KS3 curriculum and assessment strategies.
