Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths, including KS5 and Further Maths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop a curriculum that prepares students for university.
  • Support students in achieving academic success and developing a growth mindset.
  • Participate in collaborative planning and professional development sessions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment methods.
  • Engage in enrichment activities and contribute to the school’s extended day programme.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching KS5 and Further Maths.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Experience in curriculum planning and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Economics at KS5 level.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on university readiness.
  • Experience with collaborative planning and professional development.
  • Familiarity with assessment strategies and tracking student progress.
