Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to improve student achievement and confidence in Maths.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and foster a positive attitude towards Maths.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote student engagement and development.
- Stay up to date with curriculum changes and professional development opportunities within the school and Trust.
- Work closely with pastoral teams to support the academic and personal growth of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Maths Teacher with relevant experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Maths.
- Experience in delivering Maths lessons to a range of abilities.
- Commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in working with students who have additional needs or learning challenges.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
- Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
