The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the mathematical abilities of students across Years 7 to 13, including those following the Fusion Maths curriculum, IGCSE, and A Level Mathematics. This is an opportunity to inspire and challenge high-achieving students in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Years 7 to 13, including IGCSE and A Level Mathematics.
- Deliver the Fusion Maths curriculum with a focus on innovation and global standards.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and curriculum innovation.
- Support the school’s extra-curricular programme and co-curricular activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote the school’s ethos of character education and pastoral care.
- Attend INSET and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in line with safeguarding policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised teaching qualification and prior teaching experience.
- Honours degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Proven ability to teach IGCSE and A Level Mathematics effectively.
- Capability to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills.
- Commitment to the holistic ethos of the school.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
Preferred
- Ability to teach IGCSE Additional Mathematics and A Level Further Mathematics.
- Experience with curriculum innovation and development.
- Experience in the independent education sector.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or experience with bilingual education.
