Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across the full school age range, including IB Diploma and Middle Years Programme.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, student mentoring, and boarding house care, including some evening and weekend commitments.
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and passion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as part of a supportive learning community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Mathematics education.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics across the full school age range.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values of excellence, integrity, and passion.
  • Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities and student mentoring.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching at IB Diploma level or equivalent.
  • Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard school hours, including evenings and weekends.
