Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across the full school age range, including IB Diploma and Middle Years Programme.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, student mentoring, and boarding house care, including some evening and weekend commitments.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and passion.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as part of a supportive learning community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Mathematics education.
- Experience teaching Mathematics across the full school age range.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values of excellence, integrity, and passion.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities and student mentoring.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at IB Diploma level or equivalent.
- Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside standard school hours, including evenings and weekends.
