Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student achievement and a love of mathematics.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that improve student outcomes and engagement.
  • Support students’ academic progress through individualised feedback and targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and mentorship programs linked to the National Teaching Schools.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the school and its wider educational goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Fluency in spoken English.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students of diverse abilities.
  • Experience in a school rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
  • Experience with the National Teaching Schools or similar professional development programs.
  • Experience with safeguarding and student welfare.
