Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student achievement and a love of mathematics.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that improve student outcomes and engagement.
- Support students’ academic progress through individualised feedback and targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and mentorship programs linked to the National Teaching Schools.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the school and its wider educational goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Fluency in spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students of diverse abilities.
- Experience in a school rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
- Experience with the National Teaching Schools or similar professional development programs.
- Experience with safeguarding and student welfare.
