Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS2 students.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, including those with autism and high anxiety.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a personalised curriculum.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach across the school.
- Engage in pastoral care and support initiatives that benefit student wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with primary phase experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in the primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students who have autism and high anxiety.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience working in a small, supportive school environment.
- Experience with students who have EHCPs.
- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching approaches.
- Experience in delivering catch-up curriculum to students.
