Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages using a mastery-based approach.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuous improvement in Maths outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular Maths activities.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Engage in professional development to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with A Level Mathematics.
- Familiarity with mastery-based teaching methods.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
