The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum for GCSE Mathematics.
  • Utilise modern teaching technologies, including Zoom Teaching and online resources, to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with a national team of educators to develop and deliver consistent, high-quality lessons across the UK.
  • Support students in developing a self-directed learning approach, encouraging initiative and responsibility.
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities through the school's Global Teacher Academy.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment with minimal behavioural challenges.
  • Stay up to date with exam specifications and ensure all teaching practices align with current standards.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of empowering students to reach their full potential through innovative and inclusive education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree or similar qualifications in a relevant subject area.
  • Recent teaching experience with students in Key Stage 5 (KS5).
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for GCSE Mathematics, including exam specifications.
  • Experience with modern teaching methods and technologies, including online platforms and Zoom Teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience with self-directed learning frameworks.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
  • Experience with the use of digital tools in the classroom.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
