Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for GCSE Science.

- Support students in developing self-directed learning skills and taking ownership of their educational journey.
- Collaborate with fellow educators across the UK and globally to share best practices and innovations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through the school’s Teacher Academy and scheduled training sessions.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Stay up to date with exam specifications and ensure lessons meet the highest standards of teaching and learning.
- Work closely with students to ensure they achieve their full potential and prepare for GCSE assessments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree or similar qualifications in a relevant subject area.
- Recent experience teaching students in Key Stage 5 (KS5).
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for GCSE Science, including exam specifications.
- Ability to move away from traditional classroom teaching methods and embrace modern, technology-driven approaches.
Preferred
- Experience with online teaching platforms and Zoom Teaching.
- Familiarity with self-directed learning frameworks and pedagogical innovations.
- Experience working in a global or international school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
