The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to KS3 and IGCSE students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the UK-A Levels and IGCSE curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay current with developments in Mathematics education and integrate innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support the school’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students effectively.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with the UK-A Levels and IGCSE curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Previous teaching experience, particularly with newly qualified or early career teachers.
  • Experience with child protection and safeguarding practices.
