The Opportunity:

As a Medical Officer, you will play a vital role in the Student Services Team, providing essential medical support to students and ensuring the smooth administration of first aid, immunisations, and related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and ready to make a meaningful impact on student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate front-line First Aid support for students
  • Manage and maintain records related to immunisations and medical support
  • Triage students as needed and refer them to appropriate support services
  • Support the school’s medical policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborate with the Student Services Team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Provide training and support to other staff members as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and safety
  • Willingness to undergo necessary medical training

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a medical or healthcare role
