The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our team and inspire students in French and/or German. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in French and/or German, using engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a genuine interest in learning modern foreign languages.
- Take on form tutor responsibilities, building strong relationships with a group of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and support student progress.
- Participate in the school’s CPD programme, including classroom observations and peer learning.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive and positive culture through active involvement in student welfare and development.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Confident in delivering French and/or German to at least one of these subjects.
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within a school with a strong community focus.
- Previous experience in form tutor roles.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and cross-curricular collaboration.
