The Opportunity:

A MYP Humanities Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students in grades 6–9 within a dynamic and diverse learning environment. This role plays a key part in shaping young minds through inquiry-based learning and fostering global awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging MYP Humanities curricula aligned with IB standards.
  • Foster critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship in students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement assessments that measure student progress and understanding.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Support students through personalized learning and differentiated instruction.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and communication with parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognized teaching qualification with experience in MYP Humanities.
  • Strong commitment to inquiry-based learning and international education.
  • Valid working papers or the legal right to work in France.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme.
  • Background in curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Experience in Paris or other international settings.
