The Opportunity:

As an Office and Community Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in managing the school's administrative functions while expanding the school’s community engagement initiatives. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by strengthening ties with the local area and supporting student development through community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school office efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the local community and external organisations.
  • Coordinate the use of the school as a community resource, ensuring maximum engagement and benefit.
  • Support the delivery of school events and activities that involve the wider community.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the school’s profile and reputation.
  • Ensure smooth communication between the school and parents, students, and local partners.
  • Monitor and report on the success of community engagement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 4 GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Experience of working in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience of line management of staff.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in community engagement or public relations.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of local community initiatives and partnerships.
  • Experience in event coordination or project management.
