The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Physics Teacher to join our Faculty of Science. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to a dynamic, high-achieving learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a modern and engaging Physics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Work collaboratively with the Curriculum Leader Physics and Head of Science to develop and implement an up-to-date Physics curriculum.
  • Support the delivery of science provision that ensures continuity and consistency across the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with national and school requirements.
  • Provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and self-directed learning.
  • Ensure the safety of students during lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist in the organisation and delivery of departmental events and co-curricular activities.
  • Participate in professional development and in-service training to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Physics teaching experience.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Strong understanding of national curriculum guidelines and school policy.
  • Experience in supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and syllabus design.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and event organisation.
  • Experience with Health and Safety protocols in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
