Summary:

Part Time Prep School Teacher required for September 2026, 0.5 FTE, Monday – Friday mornings.

The Opportunity:

A Part Time Prep School Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and supportive team, teaching Key Stage 2. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a school that values creativity, innovation, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of subjects to Key Stage 2 pupils in a small class setting.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a curriculum that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.
  • Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Support the school’s mission, values, and ethos in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with current educational practices and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in a 4–11 school setting.
  • Proven ability to teach Key Stage 2 subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Flexible and adaptable working style, with availability Monday – Friday mornings.

Preferred

  • Experience with co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
